Australia: Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition - Call for entries

Emerging and prominent sculptors are invited to enter the 2014 Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition now.

Interior

Small to medium sized recent sculpture for exhibition in shop windows and must be displayed on an independent white base (supplied by artist). Remember our shop window sizes do vary and the sculptures will share window space with shops merchandise.

Exterior

Large sized recent sculpture, extremely robust and able to be fixed/bolted to footpath for installation along Toorak Road. There will be 8 to 10 sites available. Sculpture height - under 2m, width - variable, depth up to 60cm. There is 1 site where sculpture depth can be up to 1 metre. Selected exterior sculptures will be subject to Stonnington Council approval and engineers report.

All sculpture submissions must be original and recent (within last 2 years). The artist is responsible for supplying a white plinth to exhibit interior work on. Delivery installation and removal of work is the responsibility of the artist except where arrangements have been made with the curator. Artists are responsible for their own insurance. The Toorak Village Traders Association deducts a commission of 33% for all sales made throughout the exhibition.

There is a $30 artist fee to assist with administration costs.
