Collect Scotland CIC is a new way of representing Scottish textile design. Our team is composed of designers all born or resident in Scotland and are handpicked based on the beauty and innovation of their work. Collect is a not-for-profit company, which goes against convention to bring an alternative and individual approach to Scotland and the textile industry as a whole. Under the creative direction of three Glasgow based textile designers who draw upon their extensive and varied talent and experience, Collect offers a new channel to emerging and established designers to showcase their work on an international level. Collect also offers buyers the opportunity to access some of the best textile design the UK has to offer with a collective of designers that is updated twice a year.
We are currently seeking new designers to work with for our next show at Indigo, Paris in February 2014. We are looking for unique and interesting screen printed/ digital textile samples and paper based designs to showcase. The submissions call is open to textile designers, illustrators and artists alike who have the drive and determination to produce beautiful, high quality print designs, which will represent Scottish design at an international level.
