Students and emerging professionals in the moving image industries are invited to submit films, documentaries, animation, original music, entertainment programmes and games works for consideration.
The annual awards ceremony recognises, inspires and celebrates emerging practitioners from all over the country and gives up-and-coming screen industry talent an all-important platform to showcase their work to the wider industry.

INFORMATION FOR ENTRANTS
The entry fee is £20 (including VAT) per entry per category.
The entry platform will be open for entries from Monday 16 December 2013 until Monday 13 January 2014 at 5pm.
All work entered can be made for theatrical release, television, web or for viewing on any other media platform. Work does not need to have been screened or broadcast prior to entry in order to qualify. Work entered should have been produced in Scotland and/or predominantly crewed by individuals who are resident in Scotland. Any individual talent should be Scottish or resident in Scotland and student entrants should be enrolled at a Scottish institution.
Entrants must be students or emerging professionals with a maximum of three credits in the given discipline including the work submitted. Please note that there is no age restriction to enter into competition but non-student entrants must be genuinely emerging practitioners. Due to the collaborative nature of creating work BAFTA Scotland appreciate students and emerging professionals may at times work alongside more experienced crew and to uphold the integrity of the British Academy Scotland New Talent Awards BAFTA Scotland reserve the right to make further checks to ensure eligibility criteria is met.
