Collect Scotland CIC is a new way of representing Scottish textile design. Our designers are all born or resident in Scotland and are handpicked based on the beauty and innovation of their work. Collect is a not-for-profit company, which goes against convention to bring an alternative and individual approach to Scotland and the textile industry as a whole.
Under the creative direction of three Glasgow based textile designers who draw upon their extensive and varied talent and experience, Collect offers a new channel to emerging and established designers to showcase their work on an international level. Collect also offers buyers the opportunity to access some of the best textile design the UK has to offer with a collective of designers that is updated twice a year.
Collect are exhibiting within the Indigo section of Première Vision and are now open to submissions from designers. We are looking for unique and interesting screen printed/ digital textile samples and paper based designs to showcase. The submissions call is open to textile designers, illustrators and artists alike who have the drive and determination to produce beautiful, high quality designs, which will represent Scottish design at an international level.
The current deadline for submissions to join us in September is 23rd June 2013.
