The competition aims at rewarding innovative graphic designs that will lead to the production of a new ceramic collection consistent with the values of the brand DesignTaleStudio by Refin. The competition is free and international, and is open to Architecture and Design Professionals.
The candidates must send their application between the 1st of February and the 30th of April 2014 filling in the application form on the competition's web page and uploading the required documents.
From all the applications submitted no later than 20 March 2014, a Ceramiche Refin Internal Commission, at its discretion, will select a few projects to be showcased during the Fuorisalone in Milan from the 8th to the 13th of April 2014.
The winning project will be produced and launched on the market by Ceramiche Refin with the DesignTaleStudio trademark, during Cersaie trade fair which will take place in Bologna in September 2014.
Ceramiche Refin will pay the winner a royalty rate of 2% of collection's sale revenues until it reaches 1 million Euros, and 1% of the revenues generated after the first million.
The company will be responsible for and will bear the costs of the following activities:
- Prototyping and subsequent production of the designed collection.
- Advertising and promotional activities that Refin will consider suitable for launching the collection on the market.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a plaque as recognition for their placement and will participate in Refin's communication and promotional activities as deemed appropriate by the company.
