The Saul Bell Design Award invites you to enter your most inspired jewelry and hollowware designs for consideration for the 2014 competition. Choose from among six categories and create a piece that tells a story, states your vision and encompasses the depth of your skill. Members of the jewelry or hollowware community and students of a jewelry or hollowware program are invited to enter the 14th annual Saul Bell Design Award Competition. Choose one of the six categories available in the Saul Bell Design Award competition (Silver/Argentium® Silver, Gold/Platinum, Metal Clay, Hollowware/Art Objects, Enamel, Alternative Metals) as the foundation of your piece, and integrate any additional stones or materials you wish into your design. Submitted pieces must be wearable jewelry (except in the hollowware/art objects category), and a majority of the piece must be composed of a majority of the material specified in the chosen category. The piece may not have won an award in any other competition prior to entry submission. Renderings, photographs or electronic files must be received by Rio Grande, postmarked by September 27, 2013.
