The Luxembourg Art Prize aims to reveal and promote talented artists who have yet to establish a profile on the contemporary international scene. Its function is to discover artists, and it is open to any artist, amateur or professional, with no limits on age, nationality or place of residence. The Prize is aimed at artists working in one or more of the following media: drawing, printing, installation, painting, photography, digital art, sculpture, mixed media, decorative art (textiles and material, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques). Candidate applications must be completed online in the Candidate Space by April 30 at midnight. Entry for the Luxembourg Art Prize 2020 is subject to the payment of an entry fee to be paid on-line. The entry fee is €55 (about US$75 GBP55 CHF70 CA$95 JPY8,000).
Ziel des Luxembourg Art Prize ist das Finden und Fördern talentierter Künstler, die in der internationalen zeitgenössischen Szene noch nicht bekannt sind. Er dient dem Entdecken dieser Künstler und richtet sich an alle Amateure und Profis, gleich wie alt sie sind, welche Staatsangehörigkeit sie besitzen oder wo sie wohnen. Der Preis richtet sich an Künstler, die eine oder mehrere der folgenden Richtungen verfolgen: Zeichnungen, Druck, Installationen, Gemälde, Fotografien, digitale Kunst, Skulpturen, Mixed Media, dekorative Kunst (Textil und Materialien, Glas, Holz, Metall, Keramik, Mosaik, Papier oder weitere Techniken). Die Bewerbungen der Kandidaten müssen vor dem 30. April um Mitternacht online im Bewerberbereich ausgefüllt werden. Die Teilnahme am Luxembourg Art Prize 2020 unterliegt einer online zu zahlenden Anmeldegebühr. Diese Gebühr beträgt 55 € (ca. US$75 GBP55 CHF70 CA$95 JPY8,000).
