British Council - Art: Artists International Development Fund

The Artists' international development programme is a £750,000 fund, jointly funded by the British Council and Arts Council England. Artists are able to apply for small grants (minimum of £1,000 up to £5,000). You can only apply to the Artists' international development programme once in any financial year. Although the Artists' international development programme is aimed at individual artists, small groups of artists who normally collaborate in their work can also apply. This could include, for example, musicians and visual artists who usually create work together, or writers and their translators. There will be three deadlines per financial year in May, October and February. To be considered for a particular funding round, applications must be submitted by 5pm on the deadline day for that round.
