Prix La Pansee - FONDATION ATELIERS D’ART DE FRANCE

La Fondation Ateliers d’Art de France, sous l’égide de la Fondation du Patrimoine, organise un Prix intitulé La Pensée qui entend encourager l’ouverture et l’analyse des métiers d’art. Ce Prix est ouvert à toute personne résidant en France qui, par son regard, sa pensée ou ses écrits, participe au rayonnement, à la valorisation ou à l’histoire des métiers d’art. Le candidat, qu’il soit une personne physique ou morale, n’est pas tenu d’appartenir au monde des métiers d’art pour autant que son projet les serve. Dans tous les cas, il devra proposer un contenu inédit destiné à être diffusé et dont il est l’auteur. Les domaines abordés peuvent être les sciences sociales, la philosophie, l’image, la poésie, la critique, … et prendre la forme d’un essai, d’une thèse, d’un reportage, d’une fiction, d’une biographie, d’un portrait.... La Fondation finance l’édition et la diffusion du contenu proposé par le lauréat. Le support final peut être un livre classique ou numérique ; il pourra comporter des éléments audio-visuels (par exemple : livre-CD). Le lauréat reçoit également un chèque de 5000 € et bénéficie du reversement des droits d’auteur. La date limite de reception des dossiers de candidature est le 19 avril 2013.

The Thought's Award is open to any resident of France who, through their perspective, thoughts or writings, contributes to the reputation, enhancement or history of the craft professions. Candidates, whether individuals or legal entities, do not necessarily have to belong to the craft world, as long as their project is of service to the craft professions. All candidates must submit original content, which they have written themselves, for distribution. The topics to be dealt with may include social sciences, philosophy, image, poetry and criticism, and entries may take the form of an essay, thesis, report, fictional work, biography, portrait, etc. The content submitted must be sufficiently well developed and clear to enable the jury to understand its final form and assess its relevance. The Foundation will fund the publication and distribution of the award-winner’s work, which may ultimately take the form of a traditional or digital book; it may include audiovisual elements (e.g. CD book). The winner will also receive a cheque for €5,000 and will be paid royalties. The deadline is the 19.04.2013.
