Premiere: The First BERLIN FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS projection mapping competition at the Brandenburg Gate
OUTLINE OF THE COMPETITION 9th – 18th October 2015, Berlin, Brandenburg Gate
In the "International year of Light", we are proud to announce the BERLIN FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS Award in 2015 for the first time. We will prize outstanding, creative and innovative video mappings and art works. We want to show the breathtaking possibilities of video art, the newest and most impressive technology and the inexhaustible creativity of artists from all over the world. The six winner mappings will be shown during the whole festival for 10 nights, 5 hours per night. Additionally, we will ask the audience to vote online for their favorite piece of art. The award will be rewarded with prize money.
