Wales Arts International uses some of its strategic funds to support individuals and people from organisations to experience this key international event. This opportunity will possibly have significant importance for their professional practice and/or creative programme and will in turn support the development of the visuals arts in Wales.
The award provides a contribution of £500 to enable artists, curators and critics from Wales to attend the Venice Biennale.
A maximum of 20 Travel Awards/Bursaries will be made.
Your visit can be at any point during the exhibition period.The Wales Arts International Venice Biennale Travel Award is targeted at artists, curators and critics based in Wales to travel to the Venice Biennale in 2013. You need to evidence the anticipated impact of the developmental benefit on your practice or organisation’s creative programme. The application deadline is 13 May at 12.00 noon.
