Scotland: Creative Place Awards 2014

Where are Scotland's most creative places? These awards are open to cultural organisations, community groups and/or local authorities who are able to demonstrate how creative activities and programming in their villages and towns is helping to promote the identity of individual communities.
Awards are made across three categories:
Places with up to 2,500 residents (£50k)
Places with up to 10,000 residents (£100k)
Places with up to 100,000 residents (£150k)
The Creative Places Awards are running over the three years 2012-14 and there is one deadline per year for submissions. The budget for the programme is £1m over the three years of this programme. Each year a winner will be chosen from each of the categories below and awards will be made with a combined total value of £300,000.
Because of the nature of these awards, we cannot accept applications from any areas covered by the following city councils: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee. Similarly, applications from areas, neighbourhoods or suburbs of the cities of Inverness, Stirling and Perth are not eligible. Previous winners (in 2012 and 2013) may not apply.
Before completing an application form, we strongly advise you to notify us of your intention to apply by 5pm on Friday 5 July 2013. Completed application forms and supporting material should then be submitted by email to creativeplaces@creativescotland.com by 5pm on Monday 19 August 2013.
