Craft Scotland announce an exciting new Summer Show that will run for the duration of August in Edinburgh.
The Craft Scotland Summer Show will be an opportunity for both local and international visitors to see and buy high quality Scottish contemporary craft.
It will also provide around 50 Scottish craft makers with a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work in Edinburgh during the busy Festival period.Successful applicants will be asked to volunteer the equivalent of approximately two days of their time at the Summer Show to help facilitate the show, be on hand to engage with the public, promote their work and take advantage of the opportunities that the Summer Show brings. There may also be the opportunity for makers to participate in a programme of talks and events along with Meet Your Maker events.
The Summer Show and participating makers will be promoted via a press and marketing campaign on Craft Scotland’s online channels, through White Stuff, through other partner organisations and in relevant press and publications.Deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm Friday 17 May 2013.
