Scotland: International Programme - Creative Scotland

The purpose of the International Programme is to promote creative and cultural
exchange between Scotland and the rest of the world. Funds are available to
support artists and arts organisations to build knowledge and skills in an
international context and to establish opportunities for the presentation and
promotion of their work.
There are two routes to funding within this programme:

Research and Development
Presentation of Work Overseas.

This funding route will support the costs involved in a range of research and
development activity including: exchange visits to consolidate existing partnerships and/or to research and develop new work; attendance at conferences, seminars and trade fairs; participation in international and European networks; exploratory visits to establish contacts /build new relationships.
Please note we will also support the costs of research and development activity that requires international partners to come to Scotland.

In 2013/14 the total budget available is £180,000. Individual awards will range from £1,000 - £10,000. The budget available for Presentation and Touring of Work Overseas is £400,000 and individual awards will be in the region of £1,000 - £40,000.

There is no deadline for this fund. Applications are accepted at any time and applicants will be notified of the decision within 8 weeks of submitting an application.
Applications can come from either individuals or organisations based in Scotland.
We will also consider applications from companies based outwith Scotland that
address the criteria for the fund and demonstrate clear artistic/public benefits for Scotland.
