The Innovation Fund offers finance to creative projects in the form of interest-free loans. The Innovation fund aims to foster distinctive and engaging work which is using digital technologies where they interact with music, film, publishing, visual arts or other creative industries.
The team are looking for projects and partnerships that demonstrate innovation and have clear creative potential to deliver against Creative Scotland’s wider aims and objectives. Previous loans made through this fund have included:
A publisher developing a new model for creating illustrated books.A technology company developing an online music creation service.
An app developer creating a social distribution network for film fans.
In 2013/14 the total budget available is £500,000. Individual awards range from £10,000 - £75,000.
There are no deadlines for this fund. Applications are accepted at any time and you will be notified of the decision within 12 weeks of the acknowledged receipt of your application. Companies or Organisations based in Scotland.
