The City of Hamilton is seeking Artists and Artist-Led Teams to submit proposals to create a permanent Public Art work to be installed near the east entrance to the newly renovated Hamilton Farmers’ Market at the corner of MacNab Street and York Blvd. in downtown Hamilton. Artists will be selected by a citizen Jury through a two stage process involving a concept and preliminary design proposal followed by a submission of detailed proposal by selected Artists.
- Award: $75,000
- Artists completing a Stage 2 submission will receive a $750 honorarium.
- Submission Deadline: Friday November 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM (Hamilton time)
