From 4th of September 2014 art once more lets us experience the unique culture and nature of the Wadden Sea area through words, sounds, pictures and atmosphere. The festival takes place from Varde in the north to Tønder in the south and introduces both national and international artists. The characteristics of the Wadden Sea Festival are artistic high quality and innovative art that can attract, challenge and surprise - to the benefit of those who live in, visits and work in the Wadden Sea region. In other words The Wadden Sea Festival strives to become the identity provider of the people along the Wadden Sea area and a generator of creative and innovative development of the area.
