The Council requires an organisation to devise an aspirational and accessible programme of high quality original public artwork in the medium of light at the primary site of Union Terrace Gardens. Work will include projections, sculptural and installation work by local, national and international artists. The programme will make best use of the site and surrounding city centre spaces and reflect Aberdeen’s cultural and heritage strengths and sense of place, making best use of the city’s unique architecture and spaces. Tenderers must demonstrate they have the relevant expertise, capacity and experience of delivering a light festival programme or comparable cultural event. The deadline is Wednesday 17 September 2014 at 16:00.
