This unique competition receives more and more submissions every year, both from would be authors and more established writers. The format is simple. You write a Fearie Tale and send it to the team. The team then choose three or four entries to be read aloud in the cosy atmosphere of the Theatre Foyer on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout Winter Words. Every Fearie Tale must be an entirely new story, written especially for Winter Words and not previously published in any form. Each entry must be a minimum of 2,250 words up to a maximum length of 3,250 words. Entries must be received at Pitlochry Festival Theatre by 12.00 noon on Saturday 31 January, 2015.
