Snowden Photography Competition "Celebrating the Mining Industry".

The Snowden photo competition provides a unique opportunity to capture the diversity and beauty that is part of the mining industry.
This year's categories and prizes are:

• Overall Winner: $10000
  
• People in Mining Winner: $1000
  
• Black and White Winner: $1000
  
• Landscapes of Mining Winner: $1000
  
• Equipment and Machinery in Mining Winner: $1000

This year a new category, Reasons to Celebrate the Mining Industry, was added. The winner of his category will receive $1 000.

Mining can often have a bad reputation in society and the team would like to showcase the many great things that this industry has to offer. Some examples could be the first gold pour at a new mine, a new school that has been built for a mining community or a miner’s joy at a job well done.
