Presenting the very best of gardening, countryside, food and crafts, the Holker Garden Festival takes centre stage once again, for a three day summer extravaganza in the grounds of Holker Hall in Cark-in-Cartmel, Cumbria from Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June 2014. Hosted by Lord and Lady Cavendish and celebrating its 22nd year, a show-stopping line up awaits as the Festival welcomes a very special guest; horticulturist and BBC The One Show’s resident gardening expert, Christine Walkden on Friday 30th May. Christine will be taking part in Q & A sessions in the Holker Garden Theatre, signing copies of her new book ‘No Nonsense Container Gardening’ and offering expert advice and top tips to amateur gardeners and visitors. Bursting with magnificent horticultural displays, fragrance filled marquees, inspiring show gardens, live garden theatre and rare and unusual plants; green fingered visitors will be spoilt for choice.
