Scotland: Vine Competition for TEDx Glasgow

Smart Vines. Funny Vines. Clever Vines. Memorable Vines. Start Digital has teamed up with TEDx Glasgow to launch a Vine competition.
Six winning entries will be used during the inaugural event at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on June 8 where they will be seen by some of Scotland’s most influential people.
A Vine is a six second video, created on your phone via the Vine app. They can be funny or dramatic – whatever you want. However, they asking you to create a Vine that fits with the TEDx Glasgow theme of The Common Wealth and does one or more of the following:
• Captures the essence of being Scottish.
• Illustrates a challenge facing Scotland – and Glasgow in particular.
• Shows the importance to Glasgow and Scotland of innovation in business, education and communities.
• Celebrates Scotland and its landscape, the City of Glasgow and its people.
• A Vine that is visually striking, memorable and inspiring.
Remember, these Vines will be played at the TEDx conference between speakers. So we need Vines that are positive, memorable and creative.
The closing date will be May 31.
