Sherman Cymru (Senghennydd Road, Cardiff CF24 4YE) are inviting submissions of ten minute plays or scenes which will be performed as part of their annual project, ScriptSlam `Steddfod at this year’s National Eisteddfod in Denbighshire.
Sherman Cymru will be shortlisting six scripts to be developed and performed in Theatr y Maes in August, in front of a panel of experts and an enthusiatic audience. Performances will take place on the Monday and Wednesday of the Eisteddfod week at 2pm, and in each session the audience will choose their favourite play. Each daily winner will receive a collection of playscripts and the opportunity to develop as a writer with Sherman Cymru.
The closing date for submissions is June 17th, 2013.
